My name is Annie Callaghan and I am an illustrator and graphic designer in Melbourne, Australia.

What began as a love of painting, soon became a desire to become an illustration and graphic design professional, of which I have 8 years of experience. I excel at designing with vector applications, vectorisations (creating precise vector logos/designs from static images) freehand illustrations and web design.

Immediately after uni in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was hired as a 3D environment artist and graphic designer in a paid summer internship. From there I ventured into screen printing and embroidery for promotional products when I was hired to be the lead/sole designer. I had been aspiring to apply at DreamWorks after taking a tour of their HQ, however, I fell in love and became engaged to an Australian, married him and moved to Melbourne! Since that move, I’ve designed logos, created websites, illustrations, posters, marketing materials, pre-press books, e-books, PDFs and more for well known companies and individuals in Australia, the US, UK and Japan.

I’m efficient, a quick learner and have a dedicated work ethic. I can work autonomously or under direction and under strict deadlines. I can design and conform with strict style sheets or create inspired designs with input from clients.

My areas of expertise include designing using Adobe Creative Suite; vector design & illustration, typography, 3D texture, photo repair, pre-press, e-book design and page layout, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Designing WCMS themes, and I am familiar with TAJIMA embroidery software and the screen printing process.

I am available for FT, PT or contract hire.
