Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, I was hired as the lead Graphic Designer for this small yet booming Screen Printing, Embroidery and Promotional Products business.

From creating a brand new logo for the milk bar across the street, to colour separating and film printing established logos of big businesses like Google, NVIDIA, The Department of Defense, Stanford, etc. for screen printing thousands of garments.

Some days offered a challenge. A poster came in from the DCA that needed screen printing and embroidery and had no digital file. It was an old print that was in poor shape. I went to work scanning the poster in pieces and stitching it together. Before the day was out, I had recreated the poster in crisp vectors and prepped it for screen printing and embroidery.

I have vectorised logos, full designs and fonts from garments, scanned media and hand drawn briefs.

Before I came on board, the company was outsourcing some art files to Canada for embroidery. Within a short time, I taught myself the in-house embroidery software to be able to modify designs and reduce the cost of outsourcing files.
